-menos
The product of you and me is you;
a logarithm for all couplets.
El nuevo ritmo es un cameleon
- sonar despierto sobre la union.
(The new rhythm is a chameleon
-daydreaming about the connection).
That girl, este chico, those trees,
a math that makes sense only to strangers.
Extranjeros, amantes, divide:
un violacion de indole,
(Strangers, lovers, divide:
a violation of nature,)
or beauty that adds or subtracts constantly.
En dos mundos, tiene similitud.
(In both worlds, there is similarity).

Tony,
Ef-ing great, my friend, just great.
What does the title mean, exactly? Is it a verb ending?
Logarithm = n : the exponent required to produce a given number.
"este chico" = that boy (right?)
"In both worlds [both worlds of language], there is similarity." - this, and the second stanza, are amazing. I want more.

Having a hard time with logarithmic content of poem, since I wandered Brighton Hall this week asking passing strangers, "What's a logarithm?" I thought that it was a measure of the exponent given (i.e. 2 to the 3rd power is 8, and 3 is the measure given to the exponent). So then that first couplet needs to be fixed, but am trying to write it inversely so that it fits my model of self-perception as a mirror of society. Ah, well.
Menos means "minus" or "less".
